Overview
Commercial printers are heavy, sensitive and deeply wired into your network — the worst possible combination for a DIY move. Toner spills, damaged fusers, lost IP reservations and missing drivers routinely turn office moves into weeks of print chaos.
Our relocation service handles the print estate end to end: professional decommissioning and preparation for transport, coordination with your movers (or our own logistics partners), then reinstallation, network reconfiguration and full testing at the new site — aligned to your move weekend.
What's included

Why Counterlink
We plan print around your move timeline, not the other way round. Devices are tested and signed off before your teams arrive, and an engineer can be on standby for day one — so the move is judged by everything working, not by what broke.
Frequently asked questions
Do you physically move the printers?
We prepare devices for transport and coordinate with your appointed movers or our logistics partners. Fragile components are secured or removed by our engineers before transit.
Can you work over a weekend move?
Yes. Most relocations are executed Friday evening to Sunday so printing is live before staff arrive Monday morning.
Our new office has a different network — is that a problem?
No. Network reconfiguration — new IP addressing, VLANs, print server changes and driver updates — is a standard part of the recommissioning work.
Can you also downsize the fleet during the move?
Yes. A move is the ideal moment to right-size. We can audit the fleet pre-move and relocate only what the new site actually needs.
